Wimbledon 2006 Widget

I'm happy to announce the release of an OS X Dashboard Widget for the current Wimbledon 2006 grandslam. I've been building these tennis widgets since the French Open last year and I have to say this is the best one yet. Read on for the download and more info...

A key first: the widget now provides near-realtime scoring updates of matches in play and includes information on which player is serving plus the speed of their last service delivery. Previous widgets only related the scores of completed matches. The new widget also allows the viewing of recently completed games, and provides a browsable directory of the over 350 men and women entered into this year's singles and doubles draws.

This year's Wimbledon widget not only takes up a lot less screen realestate, it's also many hundreds of kilobytes lighter than it's predecessors. Navigating matches is now handled through an iPod-like interface.
